Yesterday I delivered this cake for Cate, who just built a very beautiful pool in her backyard. It was her husband and nephew's birthday, and they wanted to celebrate with a day at the pool. Cate sent me a picture of her pool and I created a teeny-tiny, stylized version with her husband, Doug, and nephew, Danny, enjoying the water. I think it turned out great!
Though the weather yesterday wasn't exactly conducive to a pool party, I hope they enjoyed their time together. Happy Birthday!!!
